Yati’s journey in international business began during her tenure as a Business Development Manager in multi-national companies like Global Knowledge Network and Hewlett Packard. There, she spearheaded business development activities across the Asia Pacific region. Her strategic vision, market insights and negotiation skills were crucial in building international partnerships and boosting the company’s market position.
As the co-founder and Group Managing Director of ASCENSUS INSTITUTE, Yati has played a pivotal role in the establishment and growth of the institution; driving its success in higher education. With a passion for fostering academic distinction and creating transformative educational experiences, Yati brings a wealth of knowledge, vision and leadership to her organization.
Yati’s profound passion for education served as the catalyst for the foundation of Blue Dolphin PlaySkool, a chain of kindergartens across Indonesia. With a deep commitment to foster an environment where young children can thrive and develop holistically, Yati has significantly transformed the regional early education landscape.

Professor Mohammad Dastbaz

Professor Dastbaz joins MLA College from the University of Suffolk, where he held the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor. With a distinguished career in higher education leadership, he brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record of advancing academic innovation, digital learning, and internationalisation.
His academic expertise lies in computing, and he holds a PhD in the Design, Development and Evaluation of Multimedia Systems. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for IT (The British Computer Society) and has consistently demonstrated a passion for the integration of technology, sustainability and education throughout his career. Prior to his role at the University of Suffolk, he served as Dean of the School of Computing, Information Technology and Engineering at the University of East London, and later as Dean and Pro Vice-Chancellor at Leeds Beckett University.

Previously, Petros served as Group Finance Director for Oxford International Education Group and the Finance Director at Time Inc UK’s Digital division, where he optimised financial strategies.
